We fly or cruise to Alaska, hike through the jungles of Peru, go on safari in Africa, climb the Rocky Mountains in North America, and marvel at the Taj Mahal in India. We take shopping weekends in London, New York, Moscow and Madrid.
The world has definitely grown smaller. Intrepid pioneers, exploring the unknown corners of the globe, are a thing of the past. But travel is still exciting, challenging, and eye-opening.
